Yes because A&M wasn't getting away with holds on 50% of their offensive plays...

You're showing me a play that had no flag. What penalty?

That is cute. I like how you conveniently overlook all the help you received from the refs.
I don't think he is. He's just saying that the refs helped y'all more with that call. I don't get why this bothers you. It doesn't invalidate your win.

Auburn got away with holds as well, and a hold is not a loss of down, or a 15 yard swing and an automatic first down. All penalties, or the absence of their application, are not equal. A missed horse collar tackle is far worse than a missed holding call or two.

You saying a play at the end of the game had more significance over no calls that helped you score early on, does not make him or you correct.

The missed horse collar tackle.

Especially a blatant horsecollar when we were driving for the win. Auburn has to cheat to get their first win over A&M. Hope they're proud.

Holds that helped aTm score 14 points is pretty significant no matter how you try to spin it.

Way proud, so proud, giddy with pride.

Oh that one. Wasn't significant enough of play to cost you the game.

It doesn't make you correct either. If you think missed holding calls equated to the same situational concept of a "bad break". I don't know what to tell you. But again, this doesn't invalidate your win, or mean that Auburn cheated. I don't think the ref purposely missed that call, or any holding calls against either team. Is that what you think we are saying? Auburn won fair and square.

What about holds that helped Auburn score 21?
Posted on 10/20/13 at 11:51 am to marshallcotiger
Most of us just wanted the first down we deserved.
Atleast you recognize it should have been called.
That ref saw it clearly but didn't want to decide the outcome and swallowed his whistle.

Missed holding calls that resulted in two scores is pretty major. That horse collar was pretty insignificant.

Auburn doesn't hold. wtf are you talking about?

Both teams held. Only one team targeted and horsecollared. We're Texas A&M and we're a bit classier than that.

It doesn't really matter, it was obvious the better team won. Everything else is just excuses and coping.

That's a conceptual fallacy. A hold that continues a series, doesn't implicate that the 14 points wouldn't have been scored anyway, and it doesn't mean there weren't holds that happened in the other direction that helped you score points as well, or that a holding no call magically transports the player 15 yards ahead and grants him a first down. All penalties are not created equal. Do you really not get this?
