RT @NWARobbie How does Arkansas have chance to beat Alabama after last week's loss? Bielema's message: "I say, 'Don't be a Debbie Downer.'"
quote:
Marc Torrence ?@marctorrence 55s
Saban: "I don't think we've played our best game by any stretch of the imagination."
quote:
Saban called Arkansas "one of the most challenging teams we'll play this year." Said they've been able to run in every game.
quote:
Saban: No new information on Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. "He's done as good a job … on the scout team as anyone could."
quote:
Bielema on Saban: "I love reading Nick's quotes. Two fumbles in the spring game and he goes bananas. That's attention to detail."
quote:
Saban says Landon Collins is getting more comfortable with free safety during Clinton-Dix's absence.
quote:
Saban: "Total misconception that we didn't start well" against Kentucky.
"Like everyone in the world, when you don't get the results, you don't get the instant gratification. Instant tea, instant coffee…"
quote:
The Arkansas defense "is opportunistic."
quote:
@_DCReeves I got instant coffee'd by Saban today.
quote:
Saban on AJ's claims that he, Bell, Norwood, Lacy on scout team killed the '09 defense: "I do remember it that way."
quote:
Saban "not surprised at all" Darius Philon is doing well at Arkansas and was disappointed things didn't work out bringing him to Alabama
quote:
Saban says Amari Cooper played "fast" on Saturday after being hobbled early in the season by injuries.

I've always liked Saban, no matter how many times you've beat our asses in.

He seemed to be in a good mood at the press conference. Smiled a lot, laughed a couple of times. I think he's glad to be playing "grown man" football this weekend for a change.

Makes sense when you remember that Saban was going to burn McCarron's redshirt if McElroy had gone down against Texas.

I just meant, no spread, hurry up offenses. Football the way it's meant to be played.
