That's not true at all. Nutt would've lost both the Vandy and Texas games. I also find it humorous that the OP still has Tunsilitis from February.

He's a good coach and great recruiter.
His biggest problem has been his inability to temper expectations in Oxford. That's not really his fault either. People in Oxford are so hungry for a winner its palpable. When I attended there and Orgeron was coach, they would come close to a victory or barely beat a shitty team and the town was electric afterwards with optimism.
If he brings in a couple more recruiting classes like the last one and makes them a little less top heavy, they will be consistent 8-9 win team with 10 wins sprinkled in. Their geographic location is their greatest inhibitor to success. They share a state with another major program and are surrounded by powerhouses on all sides in a state where rarely does a blue chip player grow up a huge Rebel fan and carry allegiance to the University of Mississippi.
