I'm glad Auburn fans never complained about getting "screwed" by the Birmingham office. We were happy to play our traditional rivals.

I'm tired of LSU fans starting schedule threads.

I wish Auburn could still play Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee every year. Or just move Auburn to the East and give us Bama and LSU every year.

I would give my left nut to go back to 10 SEC teams.

Minor clarification, those were the permanent cross divisional opponents for those years, there was 1 rotating one in addition to those listed. Also it was from 1992-2001, the new system kicked in for the 2002 season.

They moved to the 1 permanent 2 rotating model after that, which worked fine until expansion to 14. Gotta expand to 9 games to get sufficient cross divisional coverage now.

I loved that set up, an old rival plus a gimme nearly every year.

Outside of TAMU getting the SEC into TX, the additions have brought exactly jack and shite.

I don't have anything against Ark, SC, aTm and Mizzou, I really don't. But truth be known, the SEC was fine with ten schools. The only thing wrong with it in the past was that with ten schools, everyone should have played everyone. Adding more schools really hasn't added to more conference games, just a Championship game, which is very successful...but that's it other than the tx market.

If everyone played each other, you wouldn't need to a championship game.

frick Auburn.

Every time we play them it's a 24-21 heart attack type game where we either can't make a kick, can't field a punt, turn it over 7 times, or lose in the last second.

If it weren't for UGA Auburn would be my most hated team.

I know it gets talked about quite a bit, but it really sucks we don't play Auburn every year. By far the biggest rivalry that has been "lost" due to expansion over the years. I loved that game and it has produced tons of epic moments.
