Going belly up in the post-season.......again.

Why even pay attention at this point. It will only end in disappointment and I don't know about you but, I only have room in my life for one sports team that rips my heart out on a yearly basis.

Anhhh.... The pungent aroma of the braves in the post season. Braves fans should be wearing Haz Mat hoodies to the games...

Exactly. I like the Braves, but I refuse to be tortured by a professional sports team. Especially since most of the athletes have zero ties with the state of GA. It's just a business for them.

Fredi Gonzalez, B-Mac, Heyward, A. Wood, Hale. That can be said of any professional sports franchise. But the Braves are one of the best at taking home grown talent and developing it. Not to mention they are the premier team of the South and the most important sports team in Atlanta.
By the way, y'all are fricking pathetic. The series is not even over and you're already giving up. I love Atlanta/Georgia sports. I have my entire life. But I despise some of our so called fans. People like y'all.
It's a no wonder we have a reputation for being fair weather fans (UGA included, mind you) and it's because of you morons. Please, for Atlanta's sake, stop calling yourselves fans and disgracing our teams. I'd rather have less, more passionate fans than people like y'all who give up on their team year in and year out when they need it most. It's the PLAYOFFS. You don't think they're out their trying? This team has given it their all this whole year. So frick you and go root for someone else.

Youngest roster in the big leagues. Our starting rotation had a grand total of 1 combined playoff starts. This isn't too surprising if you've been paying attention.
What we should be bitching about is losing the best record. Dodgers are our worst matchup by far.

Who the frick is this tool? Apparently you, even if you are claiming to be a die hard fan, haven't watched the fricking Braves recently. How can you not fricking criticize a team that goes full retard in the post season EVERY GODAMN YEAR...it is frustrating and becoming somewhat of a joke in Baseball...
We are all frustrated....if you don't like it, gfy

I'm fricking frustrated too. But the series isn't even god damn over. If we can force a game 5 in ATL, even going against Kershaw again, we have shot.
Just get off your bandwagon if you aren't willing to support until the end.

Who said anything about not being supportive you moron? Did I ever say...frick the braves? I just said as a Braves fan, this routine is getting old...of course I want them to win numnuts, but if you think I'm in the wrong place to bitch about the Braves/UGA/Falcons...then you need to take a good look around, its what we do here.

That's some sad stuff! May I ask why? Does it make you feel better about your station in life or do you think it helps our teams to succeed more? Why?

This is a discussion board. People voice their opinions here.
I think we're all frustrated with the Braves' historical success (or lack thereof) in the playoffs. I don't have a problem with talking about that, just like I don't have a problem talking about being dominant team in the NL for the better part of two decades (moral victory?)
Sports are a two-edged sword. For those who care passionately about their team(s), a win can put you on cloud 9 while a loss can put you in the depths of despair. Others don't care as much so long as they've got a glass of booze continually topped off.
I still support the Braves, even though they (and most of Georgia's teams) continually choke in the playoffs or championship games. But, even when they lose, I'm still a fan and am proud to be associated with those teams in some way, regardless of disappointment. But that's what being a fan is; dealing with the good and the bad.

I think we have done well this year for all of the injuries that the Braves have had this year. We just need to have a good game tonight and bring it back for game 5 in Atlanta.
