Bob Stoops is at it again.
The Oklahoma coach took another shot at the SEC on Wednesday night, questioning the league's reputation for quality defenses just months after calling its mystique "propaganda."
"Just a few years ago, we had all the quarterbacks," Stoops said in a small session with beat reporters, according to The Oklahoman. "And now, all of a sudden, we can play a little better defense and some other people can't play defense.
"Funny how people can't play defense when they have pro-style quarterbacks over there, which we've had. They're all playing in the NFL right now."

"I still don't know how (Texas) A&M was third in the country in total offense and scoring offense playing all those SEC defenses. I have no idea how that happened," Stoops said. "Oh, they got a quarterback. That's right."

He's just mad he's still in the Big 12

He kinda left off how all those QB's and Big 12 teams lost to SEC teams when they faced off.

Who gives a shite? I don't know why people feel like the should be offended or defensive when someone talks shite about the SEC.

Last time I checked, a Tennessee QB and an Ole Miss QB have combined for 3 Super Bowls (fixing to be 4) and his former QB Sam Bradford (Heisman) is pedestrian at best in the NFL.

How quickly did he forget about that beat down Oklahoma took in the Cotton Bowl a few months ago?

SECOND, what does pro style have to do with anything. Tim Tebow and Cam Newton aren't even close to pro style and neither is Manziel. All those QBs are SWC prototypes. He talks too much. A poor mans corn fed spurrier

Violating his Oklahoma squad without a condom certainly helped. They let Manziel set a Cotton Bowl record.

Pretty much. For an adult with a position of responsibility, he seems to be going the Gordon Gee BubbaHomer route,

I guess Tebow, Jamarcus Russell, Stafford, Cutler, Ryan Mallett don't count

Let's also not forget that A&M scored 70, 59, 48, 47, and 41 points while playing OoC opponents.

No one really, aside from Stoops. Just odd that an HC spends time considering another conference. No SEC coach is doing this that I know of.
