Remote, I thought it was a legit discussion. Shame it got hijacked. Not even sure how Auburn and Vandy came into a discussion about Tennessee and Missouri.
There is no question in the world that UT has the history over Mizzou and is a much more storied program. But I think, as the programs sit today, there's not much difference. I know MU got a win at UT last year and we get them at home this year. I know the past recruiting classes were relatively close(NOT the 2014 class that hasn't even signed yet). On the one hand Mizzou has had relative stability in the coaching ranks, whatever that's worth. Conversely, UT is riding the honeymoon period of a new hire. UT's facilities are nice but what Mizzou is lacking is already being upgraded. Outside of the stadium itself, there aren't drastic differences between the two. It will be interesting to see how it plays out in future years.

I would be interested to see how the football training facilities stack up. UT just opened a $45 Million training facility that has been in the works for nearly 3 years.

That is a big thing to leave out
(using rounded numbers for simplicity)
Tennessee sells 100K seats per game, plays 7 home games, and makes 100 dollars per seat
100,000 x 7 x 100 = 70 million in revenues PER YEAR
Missouri sells 70K seats per game, plays 7 home games, and makes 100 dollars per seat
70,000 x 7 x 100 = 49 million in revenues PER YEAR
70 million - 50 million = 20 million dollars PER YEAR
20 million more per year buys you a Top Tier HC and a top staff (see also Alabama)
