Not really. I honestly don't know what team demontre Moore plays for. The nfl puts me to sleep. I couldn't care less about it. I try to pull for the cowboys every year, but Jerry jones and tony homo remind me quickly why I can't.

It's the Heisman, who really cares?
I don't really. The OP made it seem like Ingram was a player gumps should care about. He was decent, but nothing special and overhyped beyond belief. If Tide fans cared about players in the NFL I think they would pick someone more talented.

I'll admit, that's some real fan shite.

I'd honestly think they'd follow a Heisman winner over anyone

Since you pointed this thread toward Bama fans, I gotta say the LSU fans getting so asshurt about the Seahawks not starting Flynn was the strangest thing I've ever seen. I'd rather be a "bad" fan who doesn't give a shite than be like that.

Absolutely. I call myself a Panther's fan but thats really only because of the proximity to where I am. They have a couple USC players too.
I like watching guys who I saw play at USC do well in the NFL. I rooted for them while they were here and I got to like them so why should that change after they leave? When they play well it represents well on the program.
ETA- Also, I find the NFL kinda boring so I always try to find a reason to root for a certain team in a matchup. The Saints/Dolphins game was uninteresting because I didn't have a vested interest in any aspect, Panthers weren't playing, no former Gamecocks making plays, and no one on my FF squad.

Even they know deep down that Heisman was a Bama-hype generated award. He didn't come close to deserving it.

That's your opinion. Your opinion on this matter means as much as the shite I took after supper. You post on a message board and the people that cover the sport for a living voted him the winner. I'll try to get the word out that you should be consulted this year, who knows, maybe we can even get you a vote.

The anomalous fact that Bama had never had a Heisman winner was definitely a boon to his candidacy. I said this the night he won it.
But he was really, really good at Bama. He almost singlehandedly won games for us (see South Carolina 2009). His vision and balance was incredible at the college level. He was a special player and he's underrated now, even by a few of our own fans.
And it wasnt just our OLine, his YAC was insane. Highest in the nation IIRC

I personally keep up with Bama players in the NFL. You guys start a thread about Ingram every week so everyone should know how he's doing .
