Like Wilson, he is undersized, yet with incredible elusiveness, pocket presence, and improvisational passing skills.

This has nothing to do with Read-option, Chip Kelly style Offense. Manziel has the IT factor, that once in a generation awareness and instinct that makes him a great Football Player, pure and simple

JFF has no NFL future. The guy will be a turnover machine.

His brilliant strategy of throwing the ball randomly down the field into a crowd and hoping his receiver gets it won't work so well I'm guess.

i agree to some degree but his hail mary's won't work and he has gotten away with a number this year. Several in the Bama game and one in the ark game that I know of for sure

Wilson did that last year and the refs ruled it a TD, remember?

Hoping his 6'5'' former basketball player jumps up and catches the ball.

and here we Geaux!

Oh - he will be a 1st rounder - if not 1st.

It will show you how dumb the rant truly is

Not a terrible comparison but not a great one either. Wilson being a later pick allowed him to land on a team with a sturdy o line, stifling defense and proven workhorse rb. Not very likely that Manziel will land in a similar situation.

Russel Wilson also has wonderful mechanics and footwork. Something JM does not have.

Wrong. JFF is lucky to get drafted. Needs to stay and mature for 2 more years.

Agreed. He needs at least two more games to put up more yards than any other player has ever put on Alabama.

There's a big difference between #1 overall and the 32nd pick. I think he definitely is a first rounder but I think its highly unlikely that he goes b4 Bridgewater. And I also see him as a "boom or bust" type prospect right now just based on mechanics and maturity (assuming he declares this offseason).

He is a guaranteed first rounder but not the first qb taken. Whether he has a long pro career nobody knows.

He has had two "hail mary" passes this year. Vs Bama was smart bc even as he said, it was third down so not much worse than a punt. The one vs Arky WAS dumb because it coulda easily been picked and possibly returned and A&M had at least a FG there.

However.......both passes were completed.

Manziel is 6'2. Wilson is 5'11. Johnny is faster than Russell. He is also way less mature.

Yea ok. Meanwhile Tebow, Akili Smith and Quincey Carter were all first day draft picks.

Tebow was a first round pick as well, despite all the experts thinking he didn't have the skill set to play NFL QB.

Someone will draft Manziel decently high and he'll never do squat of note.

Russel Wilson is JFF with Tebow's personality and leadership. JFF is JFF with JFF's leadership and personality.
