You would be guaranteeing LSU never wins another NC as long as they field a football team after the one you see live. That would leave LSU with 4 total if I'm not mistaken. You could let LSU win many many more after you pass and let your kids and the youner generations see them win.

Yep, but it really bothers me when the kids that first heard about LSU football in about 2000, make some of the statements they make.. I just wanna shake em awake and tell them about all the long dry stretches, specially between 58 and 03,

I refuse to answer this sick question, but which SEC schools have never won a NC? Don't most teams have at atleast one?

No offense, but when Arkansas entered the SEC, I considered LSU a basketball school and had for at least 10 years prior. I honestly had no idea, but I was excited to play LSU in basketball. You guys had some good teams in the early eighties and then Chris Jackson and Shaquille in the early nineties.

I know Missouri and Kentucky both have one, but I guess they were not AP titles. Then again, neither is Arkansas', although everyone knows that the AP goofed that year.

Kentucky claims 1950 - for one single selection that they got forty years later.
Missouri claims nothing, despite how much their fans moan and piss about 1960.
Edit: UK seriously claims this.
SR (Sagarin) didn't even start until 1978.

Ah, okay.
I wonder why Missouri didn't win it in 1960? They went undefeated, but the AP awarded it to an 8-2 Minnesota team?

They had a loss to Kansas which was later forfeited.
Both the AP and Coaches were still awarding before bowl games.
Edit: They were actually #1 before losing to Kansas late in the season.
Ultimately the on-field loss to Kansas cost Missouri the 1960 national championship. The final AP poll was released one week after the game (before the decision was made to force Kansas to forfeit) and the 8–1 Minnesota Gophers took Missouri's spot at number one in the poll, giving them the AP National Championship. Missouri went on to finish the 1960 season 11–0 (10-1) including a win over Navy in the Orange Bowl, while Minnesota finished 8-2 with a loss in the Rose Bowl.

Interesting. Sounds like Missouri deserved it.

Well between that, the fifth down game, 97 Nebraska, and 07, I guess they're the Bad Luck Brian of the SEC.
