What would be "fun" is making more money in TV revenue than the Big 12 schools we are surrounded by.

Yes, that would be fun.

Unfortunately I wouldn't be making any money at all by adding teams to the SEC, so I don't consider that when asked which teams I would pick.

So what I want as an A&M fan is what makes the SEC Network the biggest money maker in college sports

That's funny, I actually enjoy watching football games more than thinking about how much money some network would make.

But I see you put the word 'fun' in quotes as if it is something with which you are unfamiliar. You much be an accountant or some shite. But then I guess after 100 years of getting beat down by Texas an aggie wouldn't really see the game of football as any kind of "fun".

But give it a try. Can you imagine a football team you'd like to see A&M play on a regular basis that wouldn't have you sitting in the stands thinking about how much more money the conference would be making if only it were a different team? IOW, can you remove money from the equation and focus purely on the game itself?

Football perspective: FSU & Clemson
New market perspective: VT & UNC
Blackballed: Texas & OU

As an A&M homer, I can admit that Texas just has so many damn resources (Money, political power, reputation, & Austin is a great city). The SEC move is such a recruiting and exposure advantage for A&M. The A&M-to-SEC move has also killed OU's recruiting in Texas.

And of all X-school is tied to X-school situations, I believe OU & OkSt is #1 on that list. No way OU leaves OkSt.

It makes me so happy that they are in their current situations. B12 has zero quality expansion candidates, and they would be such fish out of water (culturally & geographically) by moving to the PAC & B10.

We have the opportunity to play many prestigious, unique programs with the current structure. The SEC already offers its members great games in great venues alongside great fan bases.

It's a non-issue. Thus we focus on money.

OK, I will admit its hard to step back from the big picture. We have been shite on for so long, finally getting some traction is amazing and the primary want is to not jeopardize that. I would rather nothing happens, as no team in football benefits from the current arrangement like A&M does.

We are like Afgans that were just provided rocker launcher to fight the Soviets. Its a warzone here in Texas.

With that said, by your rules I chose VT and UNC. VT because the military synergy is great, UNC because we have enough football elites. I want a better basketball conference.
