If JFF goes to the worst team in the NFL with the nfl's worst oline he will suck too.

Less games were played back then, and not sure if redshirting was allowed back then, and freshmen were not allowed to play with the upperclassmen back then. This explains 22-10 plus archie broke his arm his senior year.

I think Archie broke his arm 2-3 times in the NFL because in new Orleans back then, no one knew what the concept of blocking was.

If karma is real then JFF should be an Oakland raider or buffalo bill where he'll never be worth a shite.

JFF is a flash in the pan, gimmick.

Archie Manning was a real QB.

Could be a troll, but if not, could not be more wrong. Look up his statistics since you obviously didn't check before posting. Archie Manning was a great NFL quarterback. The Aints during his tenure there were historically bad, but he was the only bright spot on the team for years.

What about his 562 vs. #1 Bama? Exactly. He threw more INTs than TDs in his college career. Just because he led your squad to a few 7 and 8 win seasons in the Civil Rights Era and his seed produced your GOAT doesn't mean you need to get all delusional

Both of his sons stayed in college and honed their skills, got their degree before the NFL.....I doubt JFF will do that...

125 TDs. 173 INTs. 67.1 Passer Rating. Yeah, that's horrendous by any measure

While I hate the idea of comparing Archie to JFF, because Archie can actually be respected. His highlights did remind me of JFF.

fricking forgot. I'm not trying to take anything away from Johnny he is the best college football player right now.

And delusional? Saying Archie wasn't at least on Johnny's level is absurd.

Yes actually. When they were showing one of those clips of him scrambling, he was the first person that came to mind. And...

Johnny will never be on the level of Archie in any aspect of life or football.

Was sacked more than any other quarterback in most of the seasons he played because he played behind a terrible O line. His receiving corps was awful, too. Was running for his life most of the time, so making two Pro Bowl teams was nothing short of a miracle. With any other team, that honor would have been perennial.

No oline, no running game in the NFL = INTs

It's what is happening to Eli this year.

His dad had a whole career of no oline and no running game.

JFF is the only thing to ever matter. You'll have to excuse the A&M fans.

Let them enjoy the flash in the pan.

He was 22-10 as a college starter? Lol. He was also a historically bad NFL QB. fricking awful. Only an organization that accepts losing like the Saints would keep trotting the dude out there like that. Johnny doesn't accept failure like that.

You obviously do not understand the situation that the saints were in in the 70s. The disparity among franchises was much much greater in those days, and there was virtually nothing that Archie could do to overcome it. It is a testament to his character that he grinder it out for 11 years without a complaint or a threat to bail.

Archie didn't even make the team as freshman while JFF won the Cotton Bowl. Archie went to the Liberty Bowl as a Sophomore FYI. Next.

I know you're flaming but my God. It is ridiculous to compare the eras as a freshman. Ole Miss was coming off a 20 year span as one of the top 5 teams in the nation. It was unheard of for a sophomore, much less a freshman to play for those teams at that time. They still had JV teams for crying out loud.

Vaught had a machine running at the time. A time when you could sign 60 of the best athletes anywhere near the area, and cut the fat at will. Archie was a standout in that era that was unheard of.

Not really. It sounds like he was content to be part of a shitty organization and lose his entire career.
