The meltdown, quite honestly, is embarrassing

I'm not talking about our team melting down and losing a 17 lead. Before the season most of of predicted Arkansas to be a 5 - 7 win team, but when we play like a 5- 7 win team everybody loses their shite. Derby is awful, but we don't know 100% sure that Austin or Duwop would have done a lot better, just look at BA last year as a freshman. Brandon Mitchell transferred so we play with the hand we're dealt.

I'm disappointed that we lost, because this is a game we should have won comfortably, but shite happens when you're playing backups in a new philosophy.

The wailing and gnashing of teeth is a little overblown.

I did melt for my own selfish reasons.

When I'm sober I may reflect and apologize.

Right now I won't.

frick that

Agreed. People blaming the coaches need to chill.

ETA: IMO, there was really only one call that I absolutely disagree with. The 3rd and 2 pass in the flat to Kiero. Otherwise, you can't blame them for not wanting to go air raid with Derpy.

Agreed. I feel were between a 5-7 and 7-5 team and nothing I've seen so far has changed my opinion.

While we probably would have won this game with Allen, I've had it as a toss-up all along. I still think we have winnable games against USCe, Ole Miss, State and Auburn if we just play mistake free ball.

We absolutely killed ourselves with stupid penalties today. Pile that on top of bad QB play and conservative play calling and it was apparent we were probably going to lose even when we were up 24-7.

Like I said on Twitter, this game reminded me of the Kentucky loss in '08, You just knew we were going to lose because we were young and didn't have the mindset of being able to close out a game when we weren't clicking on all cylinders.

Agreed but emotions take over and most purple rant before they calm down. I was mad but I'm good now. I see improvements and it's all I really wanted this year.

I am so lucky. I had to leave while we were up 24-7. After I saw we blew the game I was so happy I didn't see the blow up. It's all just a bad dream right now.

It'll all be good Hogs. 2B's is still our guy. Stay the course

I predicted all along we couldn't win with Derby. He had moments where he did ok but even then it was usually a receiver making a play on the ball. i'm not sure why anyone would meltdown. We were a 6-6 team with our starting qb we certainly aren't that good without him. Overall i'm not sure the coaches are any more confident the freshmen could come in and win. Overall this game was lost because we couldn't control the game with both our offense and defense. Neither is good enough to win us a game in conference but together the styles blend well enough to give us a chance.
