So Murphy is the QB for the year.

Hopefully he'll make the most out of this opportunity.

The QB competition next season should be interesting.

Not impressed at all w our off. Our def is pretty dam good

Our offense was pretty efficient today. We scored TD's in the redzone for the most part, and Murphy executed very well. I was very pleased with his play today. More so than I have been with Driskel, ever.

There was a couple of freak plays, like Harrison snapping the ball when Murphy wasn't ready and Jones fumbling when switching the ball in his hands.

Overall, the offense executed much better...

And we actually have a QB that knows how to look at a defensive front and make an audible. Crazy!

Was at the game so couldn't tell in detail what happened and was basically hanging my head in my towel after every turnover thinking WHY WHY WHY. So didn't even see the replay lol. Murphy still kind of took a while to find an open guy but it was his first start.

I'm kind of excited to see him the next few games BUT..Jones worries me. He is not finding the hole from what I saw. Brown is finding the hole and hitting it immediately but he just doesn't have the speed to make a big play. We need Taylor or Herndon I think. Both have big play potiential because of their cut and quick burst ability. Jones and Brown are both kind of power backs, we only need one of those. I kind of feel like Muschamp is just being stubborn and it's frustrating.

Think about it. Collins, Yeldon, Gurley, Marshall, Thompson, Johnson, Hill, etc. A ton of freshman have been very productive at RB and a lot of them had issues pass blocking which is one of the complaints of Taylor. Find a way. Unless Taylor is worse than all of those listed, which I highly doubt. I think vs Kentucky we need to have a contest at RB. Eight carries for Jones, Herndon, and Taylor. Brown gets the rest because he's proven himself as a good power back. Let them carry 8 times each, see who does the most with the ball and play them.

Just a hunch, but I bet he gets integrated more into the offense over the next 2 weeks.
