Clearly the OP is just bullshitting/trolling us. That ring is a cheap knockoff and fake as hell, and that banner is a modern printing commemorating the 1935 season...maybe for something real at LSU, but not "from 1935"...

The banner is a real banner. Used at the Museum at LSU. The ring is fake as frick. I bought it for $20 on Ebay so I could have a little fun. It was worth it.

That's a nice rug under the banner.

I've got 3 footballs signed by all members of the 2011 national championship team. All are in cases displayed in an unreachable position in the kids' playroom at home.

I've also got a "game worn helmet by an RB not named Trent Richardson" from that 2011 season. The equipment manager took off the number, cleaned the helmet, put the number 14 on it(for number of championships at that time). That is also signed by Saban and about 2 dozen key members of that team. That, too, is in a protective case and is on display in my office.

I am so confused by that banner. It's not from 1935... So is it just a commemorative banner? What makes it special?

I dunno what constitutes a "real banner," but LSU definitely wasn't using that logo in 1935.

I think my Hodson...Heisman poster from 1988 is still in my mom's attic somewhere.
