Ross Bjork has pulled one over on everyone and gotten away with it. He says we must limit parking on campus because UM is in violation of the ADA, passed almost 25 years ago.

Talk to any discrimination lawyer, this is complete bullshite! We have accommodated wheelchair bound fans for over 40 years, without incident. If someone parks illegally, they have been towing for years. A $195 fine, payable in cash, always does the trick.

Here is the real reason: Money, and lots of it. Perhaps $5,000,000 or more to the Athletic Foundation to buy or upgrade a parking pass. One fellow walker to the Whirlpool lot (we started walking after one hour and no bus) told me he ponied up the $300 minimum to get on the waiting list. When asked how much to get on campus, he was told . . . wait for it . . . $2500.

Per year.

What is anyone else paying for a pass?

If we want to be a big program we have to start acting like it. The only schools that don't charge for Parking are ole miss, mississippi state, and vandy. - hugh

It's worth every penny. We got in on the first year they were offered, but there's a waiting list now.

Here's what I want to know if the parking on campus was against the Ada because of cars on the sidewalks... Then why make people park on old Taylor road where there are NO sidewalks. Guess that doesn't matter.

Half of old Taylor road is for parking, the other half is for pedestrians only. They started doing that at baseball last year.

I think you just answered your own question.

Since there are no sidewalks there, it's okay to park on the side of the road. Parking ON the sidewalk though, if there is in fact a sidewalk to park on, would not be ADA compliant.

Uga kicks students who live on campus out of their spots on game weekends and gives them to alumni. We have just had it too good for too long.

My parents park in one of the lots off Old Taylor and only pay $150, I believe.

The walk is not that bad.

I've heard we're wearing the same away unis in Tuscaloosa as Austin, TX... All white with dark blue.

No.

For one, it's illegal. You have to have contrast between numbers and the jerseys.

For another, they're Bama. They don't play that shiz.
