How much of an impact is the new player safety rules having on defensive performances?

No longer can a dback knock the shift out of the WR to dislodge the ball and it seems like they're playing a lot softer. Without the fear of getting hit the wr's can make more plays.

It's an offense based rule book now and it shows on the field.

Thoughts?

That call on HaHa was terrible. Why did they still get the 15 yards even though the penalty was waved off?
