MSU has had 7 eight win season the prior sixty years before mullens arrival.

5 wins in 2009
9 wins in 2010
7 wins in 2011
8 wins in 2012

He has two eight win seasons In four years.

Clearly MSU is playing football at a level nobody has ever seen before. To fire Mullen Would be a huge mistake

Honest question: Has anybody ever used MSU as a launching point for a bigger job elsewehere? Seems like its where coaches go to die to me.

If I were a coach with any other aspirations besides coaching at MSU, then retiring, I'd steer clear of that place.

Totally agree. State fans that want to fire him have to answer "what do you really expect?"

there is nothing wrong with mullen. he is certainly doing the best with what he has.

he's a good coach. you never hear any negative shite about him.

It's the Curse of Croom. He was the best thing to ever happen to State, you fired him, and now you have to live with it.

right now it looks like MSU might only win 4 games this year depending on how they do against Arkansas.

I assume Mullen has built enough goodwill that he would survive that.

My oh my how things change. And hey, I get it, we turned on Nutt after telling Arky fans they were crazy. I'll gladly admit that. Arky fans are crazy and we quickly saw why - they had to put up with Captain Jerkoff for a decade. However, this situation w Mullen is different.

OM fans (atleast me and the ppl I know) began to really get concerned when HDN shopped his name to AU in 08, after the State loss in 09, and then shopping again to GD Kansas in 09. I already know some of you State guys will try and say we worshiped Nutt like yall worshipped Mullen and that's simply not true. If it makes you feel better, fine, I understand. OM fans who pay attention got the vibe early on that Nutt felt like he was doing charity work by "comin down thar to Oxford and helpin OM out." Well, frick him.

State fans have been giving RIMJOBS ON-DEMAND to Mullen (why? because he catered to them by doing nothing but talking shite about big bro) and now the smoke is starting to clear and his cutie-pie bullshite isnt so cute anymore, is it Dawwwwwwgz?

Are they truly playing football at a level nobody has ever seen before? Last season they were blown out by every decent team they faced.
