thank god your dumb arse was not calling plays. you blitz you loose against manziel.
Lets take the 95 yard touchdown pass. If we rushed more than they could block the play could have gone any worse?
If we blitzed all day we would have given up 695 yards of offense instead of 628?
Blitzing would not have created turnovers too? Possibly got some shots in on Manziel that could have physically slowed him down?

I'll take McCarron with 4 TDs and 0 INTs over Manziel with 3758 yds., 5 TDs, and 2 INTs leading to 14 points the other way..

Blitzing would have turned 454 passing yards and 98 rushing yards into 454 rushing and 98 passing.

I have stated this on other post but here I go again.
Last year we got behind 20-0 and CNS blitzed the last 3 quarters with sucsess.
CNS felt if we would play a 3-2-6 or 3-1-7 he could make JFF stay in the pocket and put some balls up for grabs.
We got behind 14-0 , if we hadn't of caught up and lead by 14 at the half I am sure CNS would have brought some heat ( Belue going out hurt our blitz package also )but since we were up 14 then 21 early in the 3rd, why change the game plan ?
CNS knew at 35-14 we were going to score 2 or 3 more times on TAMUs defense , so , IMO , CNS made the proper call to stay with the game plan up 21 , even though I hate the contain / prevent defense.
CNSs plan should have gotten 2 or 3 more interceptions , they were just lucky those hail marys weren't intercepted , plus a shove in the back on the “ freak play ” they got away with.
TAMU , never had the ball in the 2nd half down by less than 14 points.....
NUFF SAID.
