Pretty impressive. School doesn't start until Sep 30th so a majority of the students aren't on campus yet. All the Vols snatched up those tickets quick. I've seen hundreds of Vols here already.

while i was in h.s. we owned a pizza jt. i had the bigscreen tv on the lsu game and there were a few vol fans in the restaurant wanting to watch the tennessee game. they paid me 300 bucks to change the channel. no shite.

My ex goes to a school with a quarterly schedule and they start at least 2 weeks (maybe 3?) sooner than this.

They're probably on quarters instead of semesters. When I went to Ohio State we started the last week of September.
Sept - Dec Fall Quarter
Jan - Mid March Winter Quarter
End of March - June Spring Quarter
It was pretty nice because you had a lighter workload since you were only taking 3 or 4 classes a quarter.

Yeah the NW schools use the quarter system mostly. Start and end about a month later than us here in the southeast

gotta be... i remember when auburn was on quarters and the first couple football games every year were before classes started. wanna say 98 was the last year of the quarter system.
