It should have stayed over there

Well it's not like it could have gone lower...

Ok and?
He has improved dramatically and scouts obviously like him

If he's available in the 3rd or 4th round, I wouldn't mind the Saints drafting him to learn behind Brees. Another QB that learned under Cam.

So testy. Just saying its been 2 weeks, one against frickin UAB, and all of a sudden he's a franchise qb.
And frick any "scout" who starts making big proclamations after 2 games. He's obviously improved but I'm not quite convinced yet.

I still don't like his footwork - and I'm and LSU guy. It just all appears clumsy up until he fires - the the rocket shines. But I would need to see improvement moving around to draft him.

I didn't realize we had NFL GMs & Head Coaches on here chiming in

Footwork can be fixed. What matters for him is to keep up the accuracy and good decision making. The arm strength is gravy.

Mett has been impressive. If he keeps playing at the current level, LSU is a top 5 team.

Indeed.
AJ isn't quite the physical specimen Mett is, but look at what he's done being accurate and making good decisions. Mett has shown that over the first two games. It's a small sample size, but there's plenty of reason to be optimistic.
