on a serious note, anyone else think rotating QBs could blow up in state's face?... especially being on the road. Some QBs starters struggle when they know there's a strong chance they could be pulled. I'm not saying Russell is going to do that, but it's a possibility. and on top of that, their styles are different, so offensive rythm could be tough to find.
IMO, with an offense that's already struggling, If I'm Mullen I'd just pick a starter and go with him.

Muffin needs to go with Dak. I hate our offense with Tyler.

I think if you use a two QB system you are already doomed. Look at us in 11 and 12 we fooled no one .

It can work well if the play calling is good. Look at Florida in 2006.

Tebow, played fullback and had the jump pass option, thats it. it worked because they actually had a team besides Tebow that year

well that's pretty much all we do when Tyler starts and Dak comes in. It's not like Mullen will give one series to one QB and another to the next.

I think you missed the "team besides teebow" part

I'm sure OK st was really worried about UTSA. Probably started and played everyone the entire game.
oh wait...

MISSISSIPPI STATE at AUBURN
Aschoff: We know how important conference openers are, and this game has been huge for both teams in recent seasons. A loss for either could serve as an emotional setback. Auburn's home field and it's entertaining running game will push the Tigers through in the fourth quarter. … Auburn 27, Mississippi State 20
Low: It’s hard to envision the loser of this game going on to have a successful season, which makes it a critical SEC opener for both teams. The Bulldogs have been solid on defense, but they don’t have enough juice on offense right now to go into Jordan-Hare Stadium and win. … Auburn 31, Mississippi State 20

It worked last year at times when Mullen didn't make it so obvious.

I feel like I could handle this if MSU scores a garbage td.
