Speaking of that, I was clearing out some closet space recently and found my company's SOP. I guess those aren't really "traditions", but if you have yours you'll want to hang on to it, as it gets funnier with time. I clearly recall my sister visiting during my fish year and seeing the Ross Volunteers practicing outside my window.
"Who are those guys?"
"What are you talking about?"
"THOSE guys, right out there?"
"I don't see anything."
"THEY'RE RIGHT THERE!"
"I can't see through windows. And even if I could, I couldn't see those guys."
"Ya'll are weird."
"Yes. Yes we are."

I had similar conversations, just like most other fish on the Quad

HAHAHAHAHA I laughed so hard at this. The stupid shite you have to do or put up with in the Corps is definately weird, but looking back on it, the experience as a whole was a shite ton of fun and good character building.
