-It appears we're going to run a 4-2-5 defense for SHSU.

-Tyrone Taylor is starting SDE with Hall backing him up

-Ennis and Zo Williams are starting at Tackle, Jay Arnold is listed ahead of Justin Manning at 3-tech

-Daeshon Hall is ALSO listed on the depth chart backing up Obioha and Taylor at rush end

-Tommy Sanders is starting at Mike. This IMHO is a BAD idea. Mastro backing him up.

-Donnie Baggs is starting at WILL with Claiborne backing him up

-Jacobs and Sezer are the starting corners again...obviously because of the Everett ejection. Wiggins is on the depth chart at corner. That's a BIG arse CORNER (6'3)

-Starting safeties are Raven, Honeycutt, and Hurd. You read that right. Howard Matthews lost his starting job to Floyd Raven. I guess Snyder got tired of him getting run over.

-No sign of Washington, Askew, or Davis on the depth chart.

-No change to WR depth.

-Holmes still listed as starting PR. Hopefully we don't have to see Labhart return a punt.

Honestly I see depth charts released by the AD as more of a suggestion than reality.

Only if Sanders is effective at Mike.

Claiborne looked lost at time but he also made some plays. He's undersized, but he's going to a great backer before its said and done. At this point I like him better Baggs.

Makes no sense for Matthews to not start. He's by far the best S on the team. Honeycutt just doesn't have the strength and speed to be overly effective. If Raven can be in position half the time I want him next to Howard. Hurd with be the Nickel corner and if effective there. He's one of my favorite guys on the team, but he's ceiling is a little low compared to our other corners and is out of position at S due to size.

WR depth chart be damned. We are going to be most effective with Evans outside, RSJ inside, and Kennedy on the other side.

I didn't see Honeycutt not get pancaked or get off a block all game. Raven is the best ATH, but clearly after a few years he's barely earned playing time. Heard numerous rumors he's slowed down by not adapting to the system.

Until I see it, then Howard is still our best S.

Swap Shaan for Sanders and it would be a pretty good chart IMHO.

Sounds like a motivational tactic to me.

Matthews gave piss poor effort, and he really could have brought the wood a couple times.
