I know this is SECrant, and therefore there's a ton of college football fans that aren't really intelligent college football fans, but like to act like they are college football fans....
but there's nothing happening in this game that KNOWLEDGEABLE college football fans didn't really expect to happen. The temps was very hot for this game, and obviously the humidity was high. The UNC QB was cramping, for pete's sake. The nature of the UNC offense was not conducive for high numbers of TFL or QB sacks, so the fact that Clowney nor anyone else for USC has many of those is not surprising.
USC is winning 27-10. UNC was supposed to be a prolific offense that scores a ton of points, and USC was supposed to have big questions throughout their defense. But we've held UNC to the points and yards similar to what we held ECU and UAB to, and we pretty much expected we would. So what's the big deal?
We're on pace to have 200+ passing and 200+ rushing yds. Mike Davis is looking great, Brandon Wilds is looking great, Shaq Roland is looking great. True freshman LB Skai Moore is having a breakout game of sorts.
There's nothing wrong with this game....the spread was 12.5-13, and we're winning by 17.....

Roland dropped a TD.
Clowney can barely breath.
Shaw hasn't done shite since the first quarter.
UNC was finally getting their shite together.

Would an iron lung for Clowney be considered an impermissible benefit?

This has been a pretty length delay.

And you people still can't figure it out....too bad this is the final year to try.
Ya'll were all saying that Clowney was on the verge of passing out on the field versus Vanderbilt last year too, weren't you? It's not rocket science.....

They could start at CT, but considering they are playing on the east coast.......
