I think the bigger issue is they are trying to fill the crater left by Souther Cal especially after their meltdown last fall. Talking heads are lemmings so when the main driver fails they put up the next in line. Problem is neither the Cardinal or the Ducks have a crystal football yet to give them the full legitimacy the Trojans have enjoyed for decades.

They tried to fill that crater last year with the crater. Don't you remember the hype USC got?
