In the eyes of the law DUI has a much more severe punishment. Unless you are trafficking

I agree but in terms of conduct on a football team most people will view the marijuana charge worse.

Law wise. You are correct. One is a felony and one a misdemeanor.

Depending on circumstances, but that is usually the case.
