I've been telling y'all for a year you won't be able to keep him on the bench...

He was impressive, for sure. I still think they'll redshirt him this year to preserve his eligibility, unless we have injuries and need him. But I love what I hear about him.

Yepp, won't play this year. It was never going to be anyone but Franklin this year, and that may very well be our best option this year. I truly would not be surprised to see him take the reigns as a Redshirt freshman though.

Dallas,
I've been super excited about Eddie for a while. I see great things in his future at Mizzou.
What concerns me is what may happen to him after Pinkel is fired.

My guess is that whomever the coaches think is the likely starter for next year will get some playing time this year. You do not want a player seeing the true speed of the game for his first time when he is the starter. Think about how that impacted CB last season when he was pushed into a starting role...

Great point
However I guess the real question is if it's worth burning. The redshirt for that limited amount of play.
