In the court of college football, an athlete profiting off his autograph is a far worse crime than merely beating the hell out of his fellow man or having sex with a minor.

Which is exactly why Hill, despite his repeated criminal behavior, is allowed to remain enrolled at LSU and amaze us with his football skills. I suspect if Hill were buried on the depth chart and unable to put fans in the stands then his LSU career would be over, with university officials declaring the sanctity of donning the purple and gold is reserved for men of higher character.
Since Hill is important to LSU's football and financial success, his career is back on track, with university officials declaring that the sophomore is a really a great kid who deserves a third chance.

The same was said about a tight end named Aaron Hernandez during his troubled time in Gainesville, which included being questioned by police after a 2007 shooting and again after a fight at a restaurant.
Perhaps if Hernandez had been brazen enough to charge someone for his autograph then someone in authority would have been forced to take action.

absolutely agree.
I'm glad there's a few people in Louisiana that know what's up, and aren't happy with Les Miles constantly sweeping things under the rug.
Nothing will change, but it's encouraging that there's a few decent people in the media down there.

Maybe if your coach had done the right thing you wouldnt have to worry about it

What is Manziel doing now that he has been suspended?
Haven't heard much from him lately. I hope he is ok.

If Hill hadn't suckerpunched a guy, there'd be nothing to piss and moan over. Threads like this are just the nature of the beast when a starting running back (or heisman winning quarterback) continuously does stupid shite that their fanbase and coach seemingly write off.

Just following in Saban's foot steps.

Oh, so he kicked him off the team. Seems a bit harsh, but better than throwing the team under the bus when he had to make a tough decision.

"no, he only became a thug after he left alabama. CNS kept him at bay" alabama fans

Les Miles is obviously a great man.

Is this the third thread you've started on Hill? Regardless if LSU would have kicked him off the team, LSU will still make it 21/22 against State. I am not sure why this suspension rustles your jimmies as much as it has

I think you have me confused with someone else. I made one thread about Gary Patterson.

They're just mad that Miles won't announce how long he is holding him out. He has already said that Hill looks rusty and will miss playing time, he just won't announce it.
Of course they want Miles to announce it so the teams can prepare for it. You know, we have no backs other than Hill and will fall apart without him on the field.
