Non-serious: if this board had an admin, who would you want it to be?

I'm all for anarchy on message boards.

I'm opposed to having admins on principle..... But, if it had to happen, I'd hope it'd be someone that actually has their own sense of humor like say.....

ASAP Cocky, Carolina Girl, Blue Fin, Mr. Sinister, CHSg, Cockapotimus, Wholelottacock, Mootsman, etc.

My only request to him/her if crowned nazi-admin..........would be for them to rig it so that if some pussy crybaby clicked the RA button......................a spring-loaded boxing glove would pop out of that person's computer screen......and punch them in the nose......and then ban them for life.

Nah, I wouldn't do a good job. I'm not on here consistently enough, I write what I'm thinking, I like to mess with people, if someone would ask me to ban someone for making fun of them I would ban him/her for asking me, and it would go against why I post on this site.

I like the "chaos" and opportunity to write whatever I want, whether it's directed at someone or not. I don't want to be held to a standard myself, or be asked to hold court over what people write on an anonymous message board.

Also, football season is about to start and I'm planning on writing a lot of hurtful, mean spirited, and downright malevolent things to several posters/teams.

Doesn't work like that. These team board "admins" only have the power to approve new members.

I think what you are looking for is a balanced person to help this specific board so Chicken is not bogged down by 14 different team forums and he can maintain some degree of sanity.

CNB, IMHO you and Cayce and Conway should do it by committee. Loather, CIYE ... et al, would be good too.

I figured Chicken was going to want us to have an admin, or two, sooner or later with all the plans for growth and expansion and all that. Before they do that though, if they are really serious about it, then they need to improve their PM system, open-up lines of communication between members and mods, and develop a promotional (PR) system that supports its community members while encouraging participation and interaction and awarding model behavior and contribution.

Otherwise the board does not need a moderator. It's doing fine now, for what it is. Problem is that it is not likely to grow much in its current state. It's a conundrum of sorts.

We need more Gamecock content around here though. I'd be willing to bet there are one or two writers around here that could put together some good stuff if they wanted.
