I will be extremely disappointed if this whole autograph thing is true. The Manziel family absolutely does not need the money so this would be a truly idiotic way to get suspended.
However, I will say I've seen the stacks of football they would have Johnny sign and he was doing this before he even became a big deal.
His grandma made him sign a ball for me after the SC St game and I didn't even ask for one. I watched him sign at least more 20 footballs for his family to give out that night and he had a stack that went to his ceiling that he still had to sign.
Hopefully this is just a case of him signing tons of shite, a person getting a huge amount of signed stuff and then flooding the market.

He's the highest profile athlete in the NCAA. Even if everything were kept aboveboard, you really can't be too careful. Has nothing to do with Manziel living his life or just "being a college kid" or anything trite like that. Has to do with being smart.

That part of the ESPN interview about how many autographs he signs just for his family was mind-blowing.
"Hey honey, come on in and relax with your family. Take a load off. Just sit right here in front of this autograph pile."

It's going to be tough to prove I think. But I am honestly glad he will be gone after this year one way or another. I don't have anything against him or wish anything bad upon him, but all the drama is going to bite us in the arse eventually and I don't want to see our whole program pay for it

Yup.
I wish Johnny no ill will, but the TAMU program is bigger than him.
