I don't want him to play another down of CFB... BTW, you should know that Manziel has threatened transfer to another school if Sumlin sits him. It is also going around Tyler that Daddy plans to sue the school if necessary as well.
That school? The longhorns. That message is coming from boosters I know at both A&M and UT in the past few months.
At this point, the school is between a rock and a hard place. If they sit him, they face a suit from the family, and if they play him, they face an NCAA investigation. What would you do?

So instead of going pro after this season, he will sit the WHOLE season out, then play another season of college football with the Longhorns, a team that wanted him as a safety?
Either your boosters know nothing or you have no boosters that you know

There is no fricking way a lawsuit can be based upon a coach not playing a kid.......if they kick him off, then that's another matter. But, playing time? No.

What are they going to sue the school for? It's not illegal for a coach to sit a player for whatever reason, much less the crap the school has had to endure because of JF. I don't see how a lawsuit on the Manziel's part for sitting him is even legit.

Why would this be the word in Tyler when they don't live there anymore?
I haven't heard anything of the sort.
