Ok, Choctaw...tell em how good of an OC Cameron is again, maybe I can get it right this time.....let me see. The YEars cameron was OC in Baltimore...where did they finish in the NFL offensively...do you know? of course not, or you wouldn't be so excited:
2009-13th
2010-22th
2011-15th
2012-16th
So he was a middle of the pack OC. Yep. You're right. I have a learning disability. He is the greatest OC in the history of football and LSU will average 50 pts a game...because...well....because he was OC of a team that won the Super Bowl BECAUSE OF THEIR DEFENSE!

Look. I already showed you guys that the average yards for an NFL QB is about 3500 yards. That is what Brees put up at San Diego under Cameron. The FIRST year he left San Diego and Cameron he put up 4,000+ yards. Spin it all you want, Brees exploded when he got AWAY from Cameron.
Hey, that's ok. Seriously. I hope he works out for you. I am a Georgia fan first, a SEC fan second. I hope Georgia beats everybody and I will pull for a SEC team against anybody outisde of the SEC. I hope we win 20 more National Championships in a row, and I hope LSU gets their share of them! (But I hope Georgia wins more! )

You shouldn't worry as much about CC as much as UGA always choking on the big stage with whoever they have.

Cam Cameron once climbed to an eagle's nest to drink eagle egg yolk

Heres the deal. This Cam Cameron thing is blown way out proportion by both LSU fans and non LSU fans. Are we going to average 40 points of offense a game this year? No. Will Cam Cameron be a failure and our offense suck? No. It will be improved. It will be consistant. We will get better QC play. We will utilize the tight ends. We will be better.
At the end of the day if LSU can finish in the top half of the conference in Offensive production, we will be a force. I believe that they will be in the top half.

It is a positive for LSU to having a Oline only coach.
After watching UF's oline decline while Addazio was both OC and Oline coach, I think that those two coaching positions need to be different people.
Too much responsibility for one person. So just by having a dedicated Oline coach I expect the Lsu offense

Our Oline coach never should have had to be put in the position to have to coordinate.
Bottom line is, we can throw the ball 40 times a game, but if we don't improve our red zone offense and the receivers can't start catching some more balls we won't improve.

The Cam Cameron hire screams David Lee.

Charlie Weis. He was from the NFL too. I say let the NFL coaches stay in the NFL. God I still have nightmares of Demps up the middle.

This thread is full of irony. Tell me what two current head coaches sucked balls in the NFL and have winning records in the SEC?
Some people are just plain retarded homers

I was just saying our last NFL coach was a nightmare. So wait and see is a fair assessment. Doesn't mean he will fail, but it also doesn't mean he will succeed.

The good news for LSU fans is we know that we will be improved. It will be mostly because of the offensive weapons we have not the OC. If CC can utilize these guys to their potential then we will shock a lot of people.

and there are several and probably more coaches from the NFL who didn't amount to squat. your comment proves nothing and sets up your second

Now THAT is what I'm talking about. Seems like a reasonable prediction and one I can go along with.
Hey...it's not my place to talk badly about another schools coaches or players. You guys have a great organization and will do well. I DO believe your offense will be improved over last year, and besides....your defense has carried you before and can certainly do it again. All you need is just a little bit of improvement offensively, and you will get it. Good luck in the upcoming year! (Except when you play us, and then I hope your running backs all get leg cramps and your receivers get hand cramps. I hope your defense forgets how to get back to the huddle and trip over their own shoe laces every other play.....but I doubt that happens! )

By all means, name the current coaches in the SEC that fits that description.

You've got the talent at the receiver position, and if Mett gets just a LITTLE more consistent, (and odds are he will) you will be fine.
