Because his firing helped them win. He deserved it, that helped the team as much as anything

I'm sure you'll tell everybody even though Mario Cristobal got fired from his last job also, he's going to be a perfect fit at Alabama.

Let's hope he knows when to spike a football.

I do know that the Ravens hadn't won a playoff game in 7 years until Cam Cameron came along and helped the Ravens win 2 in his first year with a rookie QB, with Le'Ron McClain being the main running back, with a 34 year old being the leading receiver, and the number 2 receiver who averaged 2 TDs per season as a pro.

Since when did failure in the NFL equal failure on the college level?

:Paging Alabama fans:

Fine I will bite since the LSU fans are jizzing themselves over this one liner.

1. Saban was hired way from an NFL coordinator job to be the MSU head coach. Cameron was fired from a coordinator job at a team with Super Bowl talent and limped back to college as an OC of a team know for bad offenses.

2. Saban proved himself at the college level and then went back to the NFL. Cameron was a colossal failure at the college level and was fired.

3. When Saban left the NFL again, it was on his own terms with the option to stay. And he took the head coaching job at Alabama for the highest NCAA salary in history. Cam Cameron has been fired from 3 of the last 4 jobs he has had.

Yeah, those offenses carried those teams. The Ravens are notoriously bad on D

Not positive on this but I think the Ravens actually scored less PPG after they fired Cam

If he is so good at developing QBs and RBs, I wonder why Indiana wasn't any better than that?

1. Nobody wins at Indiana
2. His teams sucked because of the defense
3. Randle El was a pretty good run-first QB

The Broncos, Patriots, and 49ers all were in the top 10 in PPG allowed, with the Broncos and 49ers being in the top 4

Yea, but we didn't beg him to be our offensive coordinator either. We put him at OL coach.

They averaged 25.5 PPG before CC got axed, and they finished with 24.9 PPG for the season.

A&M fans are pissed because nobody knows who the hell their coordinator is.

Come aug 31 there will be plenty of gloat and stfu, that's for sure. If CC is good, i hope LSU fans really lean into the success.

He may be the offensive savior LSU has been looking for. Then again, he was fired from his last job.

His team scored 28 points in the last game before he was fired, and Baltimore had a two game lead in their division.

Cameron's performance as offensive coordinator was not the issue. The main reason Baltimore won the Super Bowl was due to an improvement in their defense rather than their offense.

Baltimore's improvement on offense was due to better execution of the plays, not new or better plays.

LSU now has the best qualified offensive coordinator and QB's coach in college football--period.

Couldn't have had anything to do with them playing playoff teams, now could it? because people always score more against elite teams, right?

At the time of the firing, the word was he and Harbaugh weren't exactly friends.
