Bellard and Sherrill at least put a decent product on the field. We won games against teams we have beaten in a decade. Again, disappointed with Mullen and his product. I love MSU but just tired of the same mediocrity year after year. Making it to the Independence Bowl and other similar bowls does not excite me. Time for Mullen/Stricklin to get rid of all the cupcakes we play and schedule more FBS OOC games. Get rid of all the crappy looking uniforms and play football!!!

Then why are you doing nothing but complaining in a Oklahoma State vs Mississippi State thread?

I just am tired of putting up with the same poor product yearly. I am tired of us thinking we can't do better and settle for what we have been given by Mullen. We played good offense and defense under those two previous coaches. Mullen can't field a consistent offense or defense. Live here in Texas and go to a sports bar and watch MSU play the comments from others are true and we are bad.

Since when? The offense was horrible under Jackie.

Amazing he can go to three straight bowl games without and offense or defense.
Keep on trolling....

WOW!!! Three bowl games where we beat a Michigan team that was horrible, a Wake Forest(ACC) team that gave us all we could handle and a loss to a Northwestern team that hadn't won a bowl game since FDR was president. So you are happy with the product? We can talk about the past but time to worry about the present and I see nothing that inspires me about Mullen or this team.
I expect Gundy/OSU to run the score up. He is licking his chops about this game and he will run his mouth because he is looking for any reason to upstage the SEC.

Auburn may have been top 10 in 99 (17-0 game).

I know you're a troll- but to repeat:
"Mike Gundy thought seriously about leaving Stillwater -- where he's played quarterback, served as head coach for eight seasons and made his home -- because of scheduling."
The guy damn near quit his job because he had to play us- he aint licking shite

Other than the Egg Bowl last year, I am completely happy with the product Mullen has put on the field so far.
Keep Trolling.....

I was all kinds of off... the game was 2000 and it finished 17-10... AU was ranked 13th at the time.
eta: and finished 15th in the final AP.

No sane fan should be content with the Troy, Alabama, A&M, Ole Miss, or Northwestern games last year. We didn't even try to win.
