eventually, Bama will fall back to Earth and will struggle. Everything is cyclical, and I promise you that you will look back on your post with nothing but shame and disdain for yourself.

You are on top of the world and yet you even mention bringing back the bad old days.

As long as everyone is on the same page (head coach, AD, administration), Alabama should win 10 games a year. We won't continue to be in a title race every year, but our program isn't going to fall back into the Shula years either.

I don't want the bad days to return. I'm just acknowledging to everyone else who wants to be at this level that it is not as fun as it might look. Still pretty fun though. When the eventual cycle of college football hits us, it is going to be some truly miserable few seasons. We will be the most spoiled, whiny fans you have ever seen. Think the Ray Perkins era.
