Oh yeah, and even though he was better than any player to ever wear a UAT uniform, he was not a once in a generation player for Auburn. Not when we also had Bo Jackson a few decades ago as well.

I'm irritable today as it is. Hurt my back lifting last week, can't go to the gym, and am stuck having to take it easy for a few more days until it is better.

As much as I hate this game, I can respect it. It was a HELL of a win for them and they deserved it. I still throw up when I think about it from time to time.
However....book-ending their first title in 50 years made it worth it(almost...ok not really, but it was still kinda funny )

Cam played decent in that game but Nick Fairley and the defense (after the first quarter) won that game..
They stopped the big arse gashing hole that got cut in them.
The offense just got steady in the second and third quarter.
A lot of people look at that game and say "What a late comeback by Aubun". Not really . We won that game in the second and thrid quarter. The fourth quarter was basically a push

Strange game in terms of historical significance for both teams.
As great as it was for Auburn, they've suffered through an 11-14 record the last two years and have gone winless against Alabama, LSU, and Georgia with almost every game being a tire-iron raping resulting in a complete house-cleaning (save the return of GusBus).
As terrible of a loss as it was for Alabama, it clearly provided motivation for them to win back-to-back national championships to include a 42-14 and 49-0 beatdown of their chief rival.
I can see the win being worth it for Auburn and the loss being worth it for Alabama, as strange as that sounds.
