I have been somewhat outspoken at times about not wanting to see you guys win a National Title but in all honesty after your 2nd victory over OSU I was pretty convinced you were going to bring it home... This week and next will be tough but once the disappointment wears off you guys will look back and realize just how special a season this was and how important it will be adding to the legacy that is MSU baseball... In the press conference it was obvious how disappointed Cohen was and there's no doubt he woke up this morning with one thing on his mind and that's getting back to Omaha to try to make a run at another one... I was glad to see a large contingent of our fan base join up and pull in the same direction with yall if only for a week and half... Congratulations again and you now have another page in the CWS record book to go along with all of your attendance records.

I thought we overachieved by quite a bit. I did not think we would get past a very solid Virginia team.
Next year we will have very good pitching. Hitting will be questionable. I am looking forward to seeing what some new guys can do though.
Ole Miss will probably be tough for you to watch for the next 2 or maybe even 3 seasons. You guys will be back to postseason play pretty soon though.

Well you have football next season, and watching Hendo shoot 60 times a game. So those will be fun.

as a Mississippian it was fun to see a D1 school(MS) get so far on the national level. AS far as I'm concerned State and Ole Miss have done a damn good job here lately bringing really positive national exposure ( Athletically) to the state of MS. Hey Bullies I know it's tough right now dealing with this loss but hey y'all were there and this has been a magical season for y'all.
As reggie said, I myself was outspoken about not wanting you to win it all, sorry I'm not sorry ... you understand why, but I am proud of what y'all accomplished to get there and that should be something to hang your hats on.
Also I was so impressed with how your base turned out for the CWS that quite frankly was amazing.
Congrats on the run and your season it really was a special year for y'all even though y'all didn't end up winning it ... remember that.
