Conveniently left out that he is batting around .380 in tournament play.

He's 20-60 in the Tourney (.333)- which on the outside looks good. But when broken down:

10 of hits have come in 3 of the 13 games- and in two of those- they were vs Vandy's midweek starter and UCA's exhausted bullpen

He was 3-17 vs SEC rotation pitchers in the SEC Tourney...3-5 against Vandy's midweek guy

He was 3-13 against fresh rotation pitchers in the Regional...3-4 in the last game when UCA was gassed

He lit up Virginia's pitching going 5-9

He is 3-12 in CWS with a big HR, hit into a double play, and a boneheaded baserunning blunder

So him batting .333 in the NCAA tournament isn't really that good? Why don't you want to give the guy credit? He's done all of that against the best pitching in the country.

I'm talking about the actual NCAA tournament, not the SEC.

Yeah... You could've saved yourself the time and stopped right there... 1 hit every 3 ABs in the easiest way to become a millionaire playing baseball... Hey, wasn't he just drafted like 13th overall ? Coincidence ?
