Louisiana Recruits at A&M

I thought some of you might be interested in how some of the Louisiana signees are doing at A&M since I have seen them all discussed here quite a bit.
Liucci just put out a nice report on the new fish after a couple of weeks of workouts. The biggest splash has been from none other than Shaan Washington. He is already over 220 and looks like he will be a Sam. It sounds like four positions coaches are fighting over him (lb, safety, tight end, receiver). He has a chance to crack the two deep immediately at Sam because we are starting from scratch there (Sean Porter played nearly every snap and Mike Richardson, next in line, broke his neck).
Noel Ellis looks good in workouts and definitely won't redshirt. Our first five in the secondary are solid but we don't have much after that, which is where ellis and some of the other fish come in. Will be nice to have some depth and not give up cheap touchdowns after we get up 40 in the first half against missouri or auburn unlike last year. My guess is ellis will have a good chance to be the primary nickel in 2014.
Claiborne was not mentioned.
Btw, we could start five lousiana boys on d next year (obioha, alonzo williams, gavin stansbury, floyd raven and deshazor everett).
Anyway, don't take my tone wrong. Not meaning to imply who you should or should not have offered. Just thought ya'll would be interested.

If Ellis isn't redshirting and you're starting Alonzo Williams, you won't finish 1st or 2nd in the west

Wouldn't this be premium info?

Deshazor Everett has turned out to be a much better college player than he was in high school. He was good in high school, but it is pretty hard to get LSU caliber recognition while you are playing for DeRidder

He's not a Black Bear?

I think Louisiana recruiting will be an interesting dynamic. Fran fricked it. Absolutely had no interest in coon arse talent. Sherman sort of realized what Fran had done, and especially how much Fran ruined Texas high school recruiting relationships as well, made some very concentrated strikes in certain parishes. Sumlin seems to beyond such a regional focus, and after in state recruiting seems to take a different focus. I'm not so sure I don't like a little bit of the Sherman philosophy. There are some big bodies down in the swamp. I'd like to see some solid recruiting pipelines develop in the swamps. And pipelines go beyond the blue chip guys. Certain regions where the best couple guys are fought after and recruited year after year, even if they aren't national guys. We will see.

before a&m joined the SEC, texags posts were all about how La recruits couldn't get into a&m due to the superior entrance requirements. funny how hard y'all recruit these academicaly deficient athletes. i guess their OK now.

Doesn't mean they won't be good ball players though
