COLLEGE STATION - The Southeastern Conference and CBS announced today that the Sept. 14 football game between Texas A&M University and the University of Alabama will air nationally on CBS with kickoff slated for 2:30 p.m. central from Kyle Field in College Station.
“We are excited to learn that CBS will televise this premier SEC matchup to a national TV audience,” Texas A&M Director of Athletics Eric Hyman said. “The atmosphere at Kyle Field with the 12th Man is always outstanding, but Sept. 14 should be something very special.”
The Aggies and the Crimson Tide met in Tuscaloosa last year (Nov. 10) before the CBS cameras with A&M edging Alabama, 29-24. Texas A&M would finish the 2012 season – the school’s first as a member of the SEC-- with an 11-2 record including a Cotton Bowl victory behind Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel, while the Crimson Tide won the BCS National Championship.
College football legends Paul W. “Bear” Bryant and Gene Stallings coached at both Texas A&M and Alabama. Aggie John David Crow was Coach Bryant’s only Heisman winner and Crow also coached with Bryant at Alabama adding to the mystique of the highly anticipated matchup.
The last time the CBS network televised a game from Kyle Field was the 1989 Southwest Conference matchup between Texas A&M and Arkansas.

Rematch? Odd way to phrase a yearly game. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

Alabama comes out angry and determined. JFF is rattled by the pressure from his great prior season but terrible offseason and throws a pick (or fumbles), Alabama quickly takes over and wins by 14.

Boor Bama got owned so badly by A&M all they did was win the NC. A&M took 3rd in the West, they control everything!

There shall be no LSU pounding on both sides of the LOS the week before this go round. The A&M fans really are underestimating how much that played into last seasons game.

Every time people pump a game up and Nick Saban is coaching in it his team wins... Other than 9-6 , obviously ... I'm gonna say 27-13 Bama.. The Tide never even trails in the game.

We're like the moon.
A&M wins by 5 touchdowns, easy, with the second team in at the half.
We control the tide.
God, we are so dead. Little Johnny off running his mouth on twitter. Our AD running his mouth on twitter. TeLeWax running his mouth on the Rant.
The longhorns warned you, but y'all didn't listen.

This will turn out as well for A&M as the 2008 UGA-ALA game. Alabama will win 45-10.
