I like to hate on Sam just as much as the next guy, but give him credit for his RBI if you're going to hate on the loser.

I think Sam Frost is a credit to just how well Cohen and this staff develop players... He was garbage his first two years in Starkville and look how far he's come... Hits .300... Has an OBP ~ .400 ... And he plays a decent 3B ... Not spectacular by any means... But solid enough.

Sam Frost was one of our leading hitters in SEC play- and he is twice the defender that Detz is
A couple of those groundballs that Frost cut off and made plays on-Detz wouldnt have touched- and being the hole like that, unlikely Frazier throws those guys out.
Frosty's error cost us in the 1st- but he more than made amends for it

Look, I don't want to get on Frost's case too much because the kid gives it everything he's got and he is being asked to play out of position when he plays 3rd. BUT, to sit here and say Frost is twice the defender Detz is is just silly. Frost has a fielding percentage of .888 (11 errors)! Let that sink in. Detz has a fielding percentage of .984 (4 errors). Yes, Frost's quickness does allow him to have a chance at some balls that Detz might not be able to get to but Detz is by far the more dependable fielder. Also, while Detz does not have a big time arm by any means he still has an arm much more suited for 3rd than Frost does. The balls that Frost cuts off heading towards first he is fine with but if he has to sit back and actually make a throw from 3rd all the way across the diamond NOBODY really knows where its going.

I liked to hate on Frost just as much as the next guy earlier in the season but that slap-happy little fricker has really drilled some runs home for us. He is a quick lil shite too. His skippy running manner is weird to watch but you can't help but ruff his hair up if you pass him in the concourse like my son and I did during our regional. The way he manned up to that UCA frick 1st baseman gave me a lot of respect for him too
And with the way different guys have been stepping up in the CWS he is very likey to hit a grand slam over the 408 center field wall in game two against UCLA, bringing the national championship to Stark Vegas and his image will be on every wall of DNF from here till the end of times.
Just think about it years from now. The Burke Masters play being replaced by the Sam Frost Grand Slam in '13.

I don't mind having frost at the plate. When I got to my seats on Saturday I said, "shite, why is frost on the field?" Five minutes later he was allowing OSU to score a run. I am not gonna stay on the guy like some people do but just keep him around for pinch hitting please.

I would hope not- he batted over .340 in the SEC this year and is hitting .293 for the season.
Almost all of Frost's errors are throwing errors because he is playing out of position. I'll take my chances with that because he gets to balls and fields balls Detz cant.
Detz had a line drive hit by him against Virginia that was ruled a hit that should have been an error. Plus Detz made an error Monday night as well on a ball Frost normally fields
Give me Frost there over Detz all day everyday
But for the love of god- please get us a 3rd baseman for next season
