I like how everyone thinks it's such a given that Cornwell ends up at Alabama. I'm not saying he's not.
At first it was "all he has to do is visit ." Then it was "when he camps and throws for Nuss he will get his offer." Followed by "Alabama is having to decide between Parks, Cornwell, and Chryst."
Just seems to be a new excuse every time.
Where's the excuse?
Jacob Park came to camp and blew the coaches away.
Keller Chryst wasn't a possibility in the initial stage of this class. He visited and loved it. Now he may not get into the perceived long time favorite, Stanford, as an EE and he knows he can get into Bama early.
Cornwell had some eligibility issues that caused our coaches to rethink their board because they didn't want to take a QB would couldn't play and progress over his Senior season.
What's the problem with our staff doing their due diligence?
You seem butthurt for some reason.

Town
According to BOL, Town was the most impressive QB at camp, regardless of class.

Why would I be butthurt? I don't like a single QB in this class and have stated as much numerous times. I don't see 1-3 standing above the rest. Just a bunch of average QB's. notice not once has a five star challenge been won by a QB this year. In fact several times the QB's got the most disappointing performance vote.
It's not the the staff writing the articles and spreading the "Bama lock" propaganda. It's the fans and the writers.
Seems like a lot of would of, could of, should of is right around the corner.

FWIW, the 247 national analysts have said Cornwell has the best skill set of any QB to come out in the past few years.

Now on Town I obviously can't post from any of the 3 subscription sites that all say we now have a huge lead and he will be committing soon so you're gonna have ti take my word for it but that's what the situation looks like at this moment
We'll see after he gets the full Matt Stafford treatment at UGA this weekend. If there's one thing I have full confidence that Richt can do, it's recruit QBs.

You mean those articles I've already read?
I remember seeing the "bama is in a good position" line thrown around, but that's it. He's visiting UGA this weekend, and LSU in July. I'm sure both sets of writers will have their teams "in a good position" as well.

Go look again
The "He will commit sooner rather than later and Bama has a huge lead" line that was thrown around but I guess you ignored that one
