A&M spent as much for their Football Only strength training facility as Bama spent on their facility for All Sports.

Meh.

In addition the A&M facility has technology no other SEC team has.

Glory holes?

Notice the Bama players trying to tap out during the A&M game?

Not really. I did notice A&M's two choke jobs and their near 3rd one.

The idea that Bama has any sort of Long Term competitive advantage is horsesh*t.

Perhaps, but it doesn't explain why A&M hasn't had anywhere near the success of Alabama, LSU, Tennessee and any number of schools with smaller talent pools and less money. It's great A&M is beefing up, but it remains to be proven.

They have another pretty good SEC team in their state to compete with.

You realize that just because Texas is not in the SEC you still have to compete with them for the best in-state talent, right? Not to mention the recent success of Baylor and TCU.

Alabama is used to this - they've had to compete with "another pretty good SEC team" in the state for, well, since we started football basically. Having Auburn in the same state isn't some new liability that took us by surprise.
