Yeah. This isn't close.

Suggs opening up his recruitment is fine by me. I wonder if Anderson/Mizzou pushed him away to get a better player or a real position of need like a Center.

I highly doubt the staff pushed him away. Especially with so many openings

If they can get Mitchell, fine. But if we hand out too many scholarships to HS players this year, it will limit the amount of scholarships we have to offer kids in the next two recruiting cycles, when by all accounts there's a lot of good talent coming up in the Missouri HS ranks in those classes. We'll only have one scholarship to hand out next year, and only two the year after that. Assuming no one transfers.

I'd be surprised if Rector is here at the end of next year. And if we bring in Kreklow, then that's two right there.

I think we should demote rector to our minor league affiliate Tulsa

That would be stupid unless you have completely given up on Tatum. Regardless of who was the driving force behind Suggs decommitting, I'd say our chances with Tatum right now are about .01%.

Yeah, we're kind of loaded at that position now. No true shooting guards. A lot of long guys that can extend a bit. Someone smarter than me, please break down how Beidschied, Williams, Gant, and Allen are different. They all seem relatively similar. My own reading tells me Beidschied probably floats around further from the basket than Williams but someone's thoughts would really be appreciated. They all seem like 3's or 4's to me with no 2's.

I would agree that all the open spots shouldn't be used on incoming freshmen. Clarkson/Brown/Price all gone kind of dorked up the classes again. Kreklow doesn't move the needle for me as far as being the type of player to make us instantly good, but he'd fit a need.

Also, if someone could tell me where we stand with scholarships right now. And right now means Wright is still committed and Allen committed. How many more do we have to give? Thanks.

I just don't see us scoring any points next year. We could be in for some really ugly basketball.

Fuller sounds like the biggest win of this entire coaching change, the guy will be a HC in 2 years max.

We have two right now but it's looking like Wright will for sure ask out of his LOI so we should have three.

I looked at it every which way the other day to try to find out where the scoring is going to come from. The bottom line is, whether because of a change in system, simple maturity, extra work and effort, natural improvement or whatever, we need everyone to double their offensive output to average in the 50's. I think if they triple their offensive output, we'll get into the 70's.
I broke it down by points per minute, thinking that would help, but not really. Clark, Williams and Rosburg were all already getting about 20 minutes a game and I don't see them getting much over 30 minutes per game, so their increased output isn't going to come solely from more PT. The one guy who was among the leaders in points per minute played who can see his numbers drastically increase was Jones believe it or not.
To respond to the point, I don't know either.

1. Clark/Rector
2. Bello
3. Beidschied
4. JW3/Gant/Allen
5. Rosburg/Post/Jones
Retaining Wright to me is a MUST. Getting Mitchell would be HUGE. Kreklow would be nice. Punter would be meh, whatever, only because he fits the need for a transfer/JUCO type player. Would not want Punter at all if we can get Mitchell.
