they are pass 1st
That does not change the fact of Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles, and Chris Ivory all having more success on the ground in 2012 when it comes to yards per carry, and the same 3 in 2011. Mark Ingram is just a bad NFL running back. There is no way around it. Admitting this will not take away any of the great things he did while in attendance at Alabama.

And you also disregarded the parts where they have had plenty of success rushing the ball. Both individually and as a team. Yet he's the only one struggling. Spent two valuable picks on him and he can only get pedestrian numbers. Can't throw him the ball because he sucks in that aspect.
The main problem I have with him is disinterest. Last year he goes in the flat on a pass play, trips without anyone around him, and then takes forever to get up, all while he's wide open and the ball goes over his head. Slowly he gets up and just laughs about it. While he could have had an easy TD in the redzone that could have won the game.
Dude had like 3 seconds to get up and was only 7-8 yards from the endzone. Brees even threw it softly so he had time to get up, instead of darting the ball in there.

I don't understand how a football recruiting guy making a prediction in June warrants "popcorn" posts.

You're supposed to have fun with your career, not be miserable all the time.

do I give a shite? no I do not. You cant sit here and say that shite to recruits that isnt at all whats important. Where was Ingram drafted? Where was Ridley drafted? Thats all that matters.

I haven't read any of this thread but the last page. But based on who started it and who has posted on the last page, I'm guessing this thread is fricking awful.

Getting drafted high is important, no doubt, but NFL players have the opportunity to make the most $$$ in their second contract. I would imagine that Ridley's 2nd contract will be worth a lot more than Ingram because he is a better NFL running back.

I would imagine it won't. Ridley is a good, sturdy, productive back. He isn't a guy that wows enough to get a huge contract.
The propaganda machine doesn't want to bring up how well Ingram played in the second half of the season last year, but I guess that's to be expected

Stevan Ridley's stats for the 2012 regular season
ATT YDS AVG LNG TD FD REC YDS AVG LNG TD FUM LST
290 1,263 4.4 41 12 82 6 51 8.5 20 0 4 2
Mark Ingram's stats for the 2012 regular season
ATT YDS AVG LNG TD FD REC YDS AVG LNG TD FUM LST
156 602 3.9 31 5 28 6 29 4.8 16 0 0
If both of their careers continue down these to diverging paths, their is no possible way that Ridley won't be paid a substantially larger contract than your' boy, Mark Ingram.
