re: Favorite Experiences in Tiger Stadium since 2000

One of my favorite moments was in 2011 when Jarvis hit the Aubbie kick returner so hard the whole stadium when quiet, gasped, then went nuts. I'll never forget it.
re: [Serious] What is LSU going to do to get out of their financial situation?
Posted by AlLSU8 on 5/3/15 at 5:38 pm
That's a interesting take, but IMO it's a political problem. Bobby doesn't know how to project or balance a budget and the legislature won't get rid of tops or give LSU the power to set its tuition at market value. If the state wants to privatize higher ed and stop funding it, then do it all the way. Nobody wins in the current system.

Maybe a little... Ha!

Get your facts right dude. Profs at LSU don't make 6 figures, so don't spew BS. There is no reason for profs who bring in multimillion $$$ in grants to stay at LSU cause there isn't investment in high quality personnel. Finally, profs who are bringing in big time $$$ aren't teaching 2 classes - they aren't teaching shite. So please know what the F you're talking about before you annoint yourself an expert. Douche

Tenured professors who teach two classes, pull six figure salaries, and do not bring in research dollars are more damaging to LSU's budget situation than a head coach's silence. Particularly when that head coach's team is responsible for the vast majority of the $7 million that is contributed to LSU's academic side. Many of his collegues wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for Les Miles and his "not much on offense" program.
You're a good example of why the public education system in LA is one of the worst in the US. You're ignorant, yet think you aren't. First, learn how to spell colleagues. Second, salaries of public employees including professors are public record. Check your facts, and see what % of LSU profs earn six figures. Third, study organizational psychology in your spare time so you have a clue how quality organizations function. Finally, GFY.
re: Why Kwon Why?

I don't think that Kwon's parents were ever really happy he was at LSU. I sat near them at a few games and there was a ton of negativity toward the coaching staff. They left at halftime of one game because they were so pissed and his dad wanted to watch Bama play. Of course, that's not to say Kwon was unhappy at LSU but I could see how that could grind on him.

Why is Henry looking at Miami??
From the rumors on the rant, the LSU staff hasn't stayed in contact with him much since his commitment and his teammate (Chatman? WR)committed to the U. Plus he liked the U growing up. Don't know if this is true or not.

The "applied to the graduate school and didn't get in is a little sketchy. Anyone have more info about that? Any idea what program he actually applied for?

Maybe if Dougie McBuckets stayed home.

Props to the kid but someone needs to underwrite an upgraded Buga sign or at least get the kid art lessons.

re: Missing players?

Wright has been playing very well on special teams (covering kicks) and Boone had a nice block for Landry on one of his screen passes. Wright appears to be out of the rotation on O right now and Boone's role has been reduced significantly. It will be interesting to see if either one gets a chance and steps up in the future.

Bowtie, how often is Sione asked to pass block in the offensive scheme? How would you evaluate his skill set in that area. Thanks in advances for the info

That's interesting. I've heard USC and Michigan, but they are so far away his family most likely wouldn't get to see him play much. Wasn't sure how that factored into the equation.

I wonder if Willis gets a look at DE first...I have a feeling if he does, there is a good chance he locks that spot down. Win-win cause he'll be a beast at DT if that's where he ends up.

Not to derail the thread, but if changes on the staff were not made and CC didn't come aboard, who would get the offer, Williams or Palelei?
re: Mr. Williams

I think he was evaluated on Monday and knew he wasn't going to get the offer before he ran on Tuesday morning.
