This was the simplest solution and was offered up years ago. Maybe with Spurrier behind the plan it will pick up some supporters.

Let's all rotate, UT-Bama feel free to continue playing, your game just might be a non-conference game some years.

Everyone gets what they want...a more balanced schedule for everyone, and the Tide-Vols get to keep the game that seems to be holding up scheduling evolution.

Uhh, you Forget about Au vs. UGA?

TBH, I am all for rotating all the games. The league has changed with the new additions and the schedule needs to change as well. So we really need the 9 games, rotate 3. We can go without playing UT every year, it would make that much more anticipated.

Or the Divisions need to be adjusted:

Dynasty Division: Bama, UT, UGA, AU, UF, UK, Vandy

Wannabe Division: A&M, LSU, USC, ARK, MSST, OM, Mizzo

That would be a little unbalanced as the Dynasty Division would have a tougher schedule but we'd keep all the traditional rivalries.

I'm not against this as a Bama fan. The only thing that gets really irritating is this idea that this is all about Alabama/Tennessee as if Auburn and Georgia have nothing to do with helping to keep the permanent opponent and it's just mean ole Bammer holding everybody up.
