You don't throw a beast like Stanek against a 4 seed if you have other options.

If they can't win tomorrow's game without Stanek, they fricked anyway.

Yes, but are 1 game away from being shown the door. Football season is less than 100 days away, stay strong.

MSU was the SEC before LSU was anything.

Ron Polk is only behind Skip IMO. And that is no disrespect to Tanner.

Ray Tanner would probably agree with you. He is good friends with Skip and Polk.

My mom got season tickets starting in '90.

LSU vs MSU was the series every year.

MSU baseball has great history, even though I think your current coach is a POS.

It's LSU, USC, and MSU. Period if you are 30 years old atleast.

3 of the GOAT, although Skip is the alltime GOAT.

I thought we played very well. Belcher only allowed a couple hits and 1 run. They got 2 runs off of 2 errors both by Vergason. He messed up to easy throws for outs. Then, after the game was tied up going to the bottom of the 8th, we battled back and scored 4 runs. Hell, Webb K'd 5 of their last 6 batters.

Take away the 2 bad throws by Chase, and we had an awesome game.

We had 4 errors. Told my wife in the 8th to leave Chad in. Turning point in the game was the 3-5-3 DP. Pretty as I have seen.

Heard on the way home tonight that South Carolina just set the record for consecutive home games won in the post season at 25 I think they said.

That's insane if true. Although, when it was 6 team regionals, the top 3 seeds were really two number 1's and a 2.

LSU hosted some monster regionals back in the 90's. never forget some of the Southern Cal and Long Beach State teams that rolled into the box.

Jacque Jones blasted 3 hr in one game back in the day.

Yes, USC has the record now for most consecutive post season (home/hosting) wins and it's 25. 14 are at Carolina Stadiium and 11 from The Sarge. It goes back to 2002.

USC also holds the record for most consecutive post season wins total from our 2010 2011 and 2012 That record is 22 consecutive post season wins.

And we're 45-5 all-time at home since the modern regional format was set-up.

Not that it matters too much but we weren't undefeated in 2010, we lost that first game to Oklahoma in Omaha.

Yep, I just found it online and confirmed it. A new NCAA consecutive home wins post season record of 25 straight.

Plus the win tonight put us at 40 wins, or more, for the 14th straight season.
