That's right. Put us in our place.

Evidently it is a true statement, or we wouldn't be hearing LSU fans say it is a forced rivalry.

Rivalries are games that matter to the teams & fanbases of the teams involved, not some whiney arse fanbase of a team that has no clue what a true rivalry is. Just because a game has a lot at stake from a conference and/or national significance (like Bama/LSU), doesn't make it a rivalry. The Army & Navy game means squat in regards to a conference or national championship, yet it is one of the biggest rivalries around because it means a lot to the service men around the world.

The game means a lot for the fanbases of Bama & UT. One of the biggest travesties in college football was when the Big 12 killed the OU/Neb rivalry. It's also a dang shame that Texas has decided to be petty and turn their backs on the tu/aTm game.

So like I said before, don't try and take our rivalry from us or

Bama-UT doesn't come close to the rivalries you mentioned. It doesn't even register on the radar when discussing rivalries on a national scale. Even AU-UGA has more significance because at least it has historical significance.

I'm not sure it's even Top 5 in terms of SEC rivalries.

bamatab, you can keep your "rivalry" game with the Vols. Same with aubbie & Ga.I could care less. But don't make the rest of the conference keep such an unbalanced schedule because of it. As of now, 4 teams are dictating to the other ten teams what games are played when just so they get to play THEIR games every yr.
